Lois Lane: Fallout

Title: Lois Lane: Fallout

Author: Gwenda Bond

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fallout follows Lois Lane in, what you would call, another universe. Here she is a teenager and an army brat who has moved way too many times. Her father, General Sam Lane, has finally decided to stay in one place for awhile. Metropolis. Lois wants to fly low, fit in, stay quiet, and most importantly make a few friends. Of course her plan doesn’t quite workout, instead she runs into some trouble.

I really liked this book. I especially liked Lois. And honestly, when I started reading this book, I didn’t know much about her. I just knew she worked with Superman and was a reporter. This book gave me a lot of insight on who she is and what she stands for. Books, for me, have always given me that.

I also really enjoyed the plot. It was very fast-paced and made the book easier to read.

What I didn’t like about this book was that Lois stayed the same through out the entire book. We learn about who she is, but not as much as I would have liked to learn. She’s so focused on everyone around her that she doesn’t pay attention to herself. I’m hoping that the next book goes a lot more deeper.

One last thing, I loved that Clark Kent wasn’t physically in the book. I liked that this book was about Lois, not about Superman’s love interest.
