Captain America: The Trump Adminstration

Donald Trump has been the president for about a month now and the world should know that Captain America would not like this or him for that matter. Trump wants to silence the media because of their “lies” and he wants to spread his fascism all through America. He wants to ban refugees and Muslims. He wants to cut funding for art programs because apparently that will improve the budget (it won’t). He wants to tell lies and doesn’t want anyone to call him out on it because they’re just “alternative facts”. These are all things that Steven Grant Rogers does not stand for. These are all things that are unamerican. These all things that no one should stand for.

Captain America would be on the frontlines with a well thought out sign and sunscreen for the rest of the protesters. He would be fighting tooth and nail for the qualities that will make America great because he stands for America more than America ever will. He will fight like he is fighting a war because that is exactly what this is. It is a war against hate and discrimination and it is a war that everyone should be fighting because this truly is the people’s war. This is the internal war. A war far more important than any other. This is the war that will decide what America really stands for. Do we stand for hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, islamaphobia, xenophobia, and ableism? Or do we stand for love, equality, inclusion, liberty, justice, and the truth? What would Captain America stand for?

Felicity Smoak – Character Sketch

I do not own this character or any characters mentioned in this sketch.

Felicity is sitting at her kitchen table. She has a cup of coffee in one hand and the daily newspaper in the other. Her gray eyes flit across the words rapidly, eating them up like a jelly donut. She taps her fingers, which were painted a pale pink, on the side of the cup that she is holding up.
Her blonde hair, that reaches past her shoulders, is tied up and away from her face. Some parts of her hair, especially the roots, were a bit darker than the rest of the light and airy blonde. She liked this color on her, it was the complete opposite of who she used to be. Her hair used to be black. She used to wear deep purple lipstick and lots of eyeliner. This was back in college, but she had changed a lot since then.

She has on a pair of black, thick rimmed glasses, which accentuated her light brown eyebrows along with her eyes. Her cheeks were brushed with some blush which matched her glossed lips.

She always wore bright things because she didn’t want to go back to who she was in college. Today she was wearing a white top with black polka dots and a simple red skirt that ended a few inches above her knee.

Felicity placed the cup back down and bit her thumb nail. She let the newspaper collapse onto the table, not believing what she had just read. She knew what things were like in some parts of Starling City, but sometimes it caught her by surprise. It also scared her because Oliver was out there every night, fighting the dangers of Starling City. Thankfully she lived in the better parts of the city, so she rarely sees the things that happen first hand.

There was a knock at the door and Felicity jumped. She realized it was just the door, she calmed down and walked over to the door. She smoothed her hair down, hoping that it was Oliver. She opened the door and sighed in relief when she saw Oliver standing in front of. She instantly pulled him into a hug.

“Thank goodness you’re okay,” She pulled away and smiled up at him, “I missed you and your amazing abs.”

“My abs?” He said as he raised his eyebrows at her.

“Yes, uh…your abs. They’re great, I mean you basically never wear your shirt and I see your abs. Every. Single. Day. Just shirtless, all the time. It’s….it’s great because um they’re amazing and I think I should stop talking now.” She said as she rubbed the back of her neck with her hand. Her face was tinged red and she bit her lower lip.

He laughed and the blush on her face faded. She smiled at him, she was glad that he was here.

Howard Anthony Stark

Peggy and Howard both loved Steve Rogers, but in two completely different ways. Peggy loved Steve because he was a good man. Steve was willing to sacrifice his own life to save the life of others. She saw him for who he was and she loved who he was. Howard, in Agent Carter, said that Steve Rogers meant a lot to him too. Howard loves him too, but not in the friend way or in the I’m in love with you way. Howard loved him because Captain America was the greatest invention he had ever made. To Howard, Steve was just an experiment gone right. That’s why he was never able to get over him. That’s why Howard went on and on about Steve Rogers long after he was gone. He couldn’t get over the fact that his greatest achievement had died. Peggy on the other hand was able to move on. She was able to come to terms with Steve being gone and she was able to live with that.
